The Deck Saigon employs around 80 staff trained and supervised by an experienced western management team with over 50 years of combined experience in Vietnam. Anna Craven and Lawson Johnston have lived in Vietnam for over 25 years and are involved in developing restaurants, bars and a resort project.
Our Executive Chef, Cao Min Lam, joined The Deck pre-opening and now leads our full professional team. Chef Lam, a highly accomplished Chef, is French and British trained.
We have created a globally influenced menu of Asian fusion dishes which are modern and exciting, with weekly menu changes. Dishes are designed with an ethos of simplicity, to focus on and elevate single ingredients, all of which are of the highest quality, both local and imported. Our seafood is flown direct from Phú Quôc island, vegetables are fresh from Dalat farms and our meats are imported from Australia and the US.
The bar is a chilled-out place to catch up with friends and unwind after work. Andrea - Bar Manager, is always on hand to welcome guests and to mix your favourite drink.
The Deck Saigon has a notable wine list representing some of the world’s major vineyards and fashionable wines.
